Eftychia Trompouki is a graduate of the Department of Speech-Language Therapy at the University of Ioannina, with a particular interest in the assessment and rehabilitation of speech, language and communication disorders in children and adults.

She has gained professional experience through participation in research programmes at the University of Ioannina, including the iRead project (Horizon 2020), where she worked on the speech-therapy assessment of children and on data collection and analysis. She has also worked in creative-play settings, strengthening her experience in planning activities and supporting children.

Today she is the owner of a Speech Therapy Centre in Ioannina, where she provides individualised assessment and therapeutic intervention tailored to each person's needs.

She has attended numerous seminars and training programmes in special education, school psychology, voice disorders, dysphagia, and neurogenic disorders, and holds certifications in contemporary therapeutic approaches.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in individualisation, collaboration with the family, and the creation of a supportive environment, aiming to improve communication and the quality of life of every client.

Services are offered to children and adults experiencing difficulties with language, speech, voice or swallowing.

The first session includes a detailed case history and an evaluation of the presenting difficulties, so that an individualised intervention programme can be designed.

A session typically lasts 45 minutes, but can be adjusted based on the nature of the difficulty and the client's needs.

The number of sessions varies between individuals and depends on the difficulty, frequency of sessions and consistency.

Partial reimbursement is available through EOPYY, subject to current requirements.
